Arnie Cunningham, a loner in high school, who happens to have one friend, Dennis Guilder, finds a beat up, rusted old car. Against the advice of his friend, and to the horror of his parents, Arnie buys the car, called Christine. As he works on restoring Christine, Arnie slowly changes himself, and soon realizes the car isn’t your typical vehicle. Here are some movie mistakes to look for while watching “Christine”.

· Arnie and Dennis are looking at Christine. In the close-up view, Arnie says, “I’m buying her, I don’t care what you say”. Dennis’ arms are down with his hands by his side. It cuts to a farther view as Dennis walks toward George LeBay and his hands are in his jacket pocket.

· Dennis is in the hospital and asks Arnie about him and Leigh. In the front view of Arnie, the book he’s brought with him is near the middle of table. The spine is facing toward Arnie. Dennis throws the paper cup at Arnie and the book is to the left of the table with the spine facing toward the left. The book is back in its original position when Arnie says, “…plain old fashion hard work”.

· After the drive-in movie incident, Arnie takes Leigh home for the night. He pulls Christine in the driveway and parks. The windshield wipers are vertical. Arnie comes back to the car after arguing with Leigh and the wipers are horizontal.

· Arnie is looking at a destroyed Christine in the garage. He backs away and says, “OK, show me”. A view of Christine shows her front license plate is on the lower grill. When she’s shown “regenerating”, the license plate is gone.

· At the gas station, there is one car shown on the lift, several feet in the air. The car is still there when the gas starts to leak after Christine rams into Buddy’s Camaro. The garage starts to explode and the outer view shows the car is now on the ground.

· CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! Christine is crushed into a cube and is dropped to the ground. There is a tire facing forward with a bulldozer in the background toward the left. The view switches to Detective Junkins, Leigh and Dennis and then back to the cube. The bulldozer is still in the background but, the tire is now missing from the cube.

“Christine” (1983) is based on the novel by Stephen King and stars Keith Gordon, John Stockwell, Alexandra Paul, Robert Prosky, Harry Dean Stanton, Christine Belford, and Kelly Preston. It runs 110 minutes and is rated R for violence and gore, language and frightening and intense scenes.
